What is a 3G/HSDPA connection?
A 3G/HSDPA connection allows a wireless connection to the internet from anywhere in the world where there is cellphone coverage available. There are no call charges as with dial-up and you can access the internet from almost anywhere. Our 3G/HSDPA packages operate on the Vodacom network locally and it's roaming partners abroad. Connection speeds depend on the quality of the connection and can be as high as 7.2Mbps. All our 3G/HSDPA packages include HSUPA at no additional cost, which allows for uploads speed of up to 2 Mbps.
What do I need to have a 3G/HSDPA connection ?
You will need to have a 3G/HSDPA modem or a 3G/HSDPA-capable cellphone. The following 3G/HSDPA modems are available:
