What is an ADSL connection?
It is an always-available connection to the internet at a much higher speed than normal dial-up at a fixed monthly rate. With ADSL there is never a dial-up call charge component. It means you know exactly what your monthly expenditure on the Internet is, even if your kids spend lot of time on the Internet.
Do I need an extra line?
No - DSL turns an ordinary telephone line into a multi-tasking tool - talk on the phone or send a fax without affecting your bandwidth whilst you're online.
What do I need to have an always-on ADSL connection ?
Just like normal dial-up access, you need an ADSL enabled line, (this comes in four different "speeds" - explained below) and you need a "username" and "password" linked to a bandwidth package which you get from Zazu Internet (available in different monthly membership options). |
