Configuring my Windows 2000 Computer

Click on start, point to settings and select "Control Panel".

In Control panel, look for an icon called "Network & Dial-up Connections" and select it by double clicking on it with your mouse.

A new window called "Network and Dial-up Connections" will be displayed on your screen.

Choose the "Create a new connection" option by selecting it.

The window called "Welcome to the New Connection Wizard" has now opened on your screen. Select or click on the "Next" button to continue.

The next window displays 4 options. Choose the option "Dial-up to the internet" by highlighting and clicking on the item. Click on the "Next" button to continue.

Now a windows is opened called "Welcome to the Internet Connection Wizard" Please select the third option "I want to set up my connection manually, or I want to connect through local area network (LAN)". Click on the "Next" button to continue.

The next window "Setting up your Internet connection" is displayed. Choose the first option "I connect through a phone line and a modem", click on the "Next" button to continue.

The next window "Step 1 of 3: Internet account connection information" is displayed. In the space provided, type the phone number as follows:

Please note that if you type the wrong number or swap the numbers, then this service will not work.

Make sure the box called: "Use area code and dialing rules" is NOT selected. Click on the "Next" button to continue.

The next window "Step 2 of 3: Internet account logon information" is displayed Now, enter your username, for example user123@zazu.co.za.

Now enter the password in the space provided.

Please double check your entry now to make sure that it is correct or else you will not be granted access. Click on the next button to continue.

The "Step 3 of 3: Configuring you computer" window is now displayed. Under the connection name, in the space provided, type the word "Zazu Internet" Click on the next button to continue.

Now a window called: "Set up Your Internet Mail Account" is displayed on the screen. Under "Do you want to set up an Internet mail account now?" Select NO. Click on the next button to continue.

The "Completing the Internet Connection Wizard" is now displayed on you screen. Click on the Finish button to continue.

The dial screen is opened. Click on the "Dial" button. This will take about 30 seconds, if connection is not established, please repeat this process again.

Please open your browser called IE or Internet explorer and go to the web address "http://www.zazu.co.za" to get the Zazu experience.

In the future, just open your browser, the dial screen is opened. Click on the "Dial" button to establish a connection.

Congratulations, you have now successfully configured your system. If you still have a problem, repeat this process again, or else please dial 086 123 9298 to speak to an operator.
