What is an iBurst connection?

An iBurst connection allows a wireless connection to the internet from anywhere within the iBurst coverage area. There are no call charges as with dial-up and you can access the internet from anywhere within the iBurst footprint. Connection speeds of 1Mbps are standard, but may degrade with signal quality.

What do I need to have an iBurst connection ?

You will need to have an iBurst modem, which is available for a once-off fee of R 2 047 (R 2 464 for Desktop Modem). The Desktop Modem offers a LAN connection as well as a USB connection and works on any operating system, all other modems only work on 32-bit versions of Microsoft Windows.
